Executive Director - Jennifer Overfield

     Jennifer Overfield is a dedicated and experienced executive with a deep commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. As the Executive Director of Evermore Lifestyle Solutions, Jennifer leads initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals through innovative and personalized lifestyle solutions.

Jennifer's professional journey is marked by significant achievements and a passion for advocacy. Before her current role, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of Golden Heart Advocacy, where she provided expert consultation to providers, businesses, families, and individuals across New Jersey. Her previous experience includes serving as the Director of Day Habilitation at Friends of Cyrus Inc., where she led program development, management, and supervision. She has also led Support Coordination, Residential, Center for Independent Living teams, serving thousands of individuals throughout her career in both North Carolina and New Jersey.

     Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Management and Resolution and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her academic background, combined with her personal experience as an individual with autism, provides her with a unique perspective and a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the developmental disabilities and autism communities.

     Her personal journey includes overcoming significant challenges, such as completing her education with the support of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and transitioning off Social Security Disability benefits in her twenties. These experiences have shaped her approach to advocacy and program management, driving her commitment to creating supportive and inclusive environments.

     In addition to her executive roles, Jennifer has contributed to the field through various advisory and board positions. Her work with the PAIMI Advisory Council for Disability Rights North Carolina, the Executive Board of the NC Department of Health and Human Services, and her involvement with the National Council on Independent Living and the North Carolina Statewide Independent Living Council reflect her dedication to advocacy on both state and national levels.

Jennifer Overfield’s leadership at Evermore Lifestyle Solutions, combined with her extensive background in psychology, conflict resolution, and personal experience, underscores her commitment to advancing services and support for individuals with disabilities. Her expertise continues to drive meaningful change and progress in her field.

     In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and traveling the world with her Golden Retriever, Fluffy, and her partner, Andrea.
